Prior to joining HHPLift, Tom was involved in Sales Management (Director of Sales, National Sales Mgr.), with Nikon Inc. Throughout his career, Tom’s experience was in directing all sales channels – Retail, Government, Military, Promotional, Corporate, and Incentive. His passion is to collaborate with the entire sales team to expand sales channels, and assist in taking HHPLift to new and exciting sales levels.

Dena Hirschberg
President & CEO
Dena leads HHPLift and started with the company in 2012 as a sales manager, becoming Executive VP of Sales and Marketing in 2016. Since becoming president in 2018, She has overseen the company’s growth in existing and new channels of distribution, with a focus on the promotional products market, incentive companies, and retail industry. She has developed successful new revenue streams for the company, integrating the HHPLift mission into all facets of the business. Dena re-developed and re-launched the company’s LiftWorks™ Program and assembled the team responsible for creating its successful brand. Her sales team continues to increase the company’s annual sales revenue. Much of her time, currently, is spent on strategy, growth, and fundraising.
Dena has worked on numerous strategic innovation and new product development teams for Fortune 500s, is co-founder of a multiple award-winning toy company, and is a graduate of Northwestern University.
She is grateful for her amazing teams, both at HHPLift and at home.

Prior to working at HHPLift, I worked in various accounting fields at large corporations for many years. This is the second smaller corporation that I have worked for, which gives a much more detailed scope of the ends and outs. My experiences here have been rewarding and I enjoy the family like atmosphere and the work that I accomplish. Working for a nonprofit adds a new, enjoyable dimension to my work experience.

Alejandra Camargo is the Director of the LiftWorks™ program at HHPLift, where she leads with passion and purpose, guiding Program Associates on their path to full-time employment. Since joining HHPLift in 2018, she has been instrumental in creating opportunities for individuals seeking stability and growth, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and resources needed to thrive.
As a proud Latina, Alejandra’s heritage profoundly influences her dedication to empowerment, community-building, and advocacy for inclusive opportunities. Beyond her commitment to workforce development, she is a compassionate advocate for all living beings. Her deep empathy extends beyond the workplace—she has rescued a wild parakeet, a dog, and multiple squirrels, embodying her unwavering commitment to care and support in all aspects of life.

Mary Ryan Karges
VP of Sales
Mary brings over 25 years of diverse experience collaborating with corporate leaders, nonprofits, retail stores, and entrepreneurs to her role at HHPLift. With a background in acting, she has honed creative problem-solving skills that have been instrumental in her business career. As a key contributor to the growth of Moonjar, a mission-driven company, Mary successfully introduced innovative financial literacy tools for children to banks, credit unions, wealth managers, and retail stores. HHPLift is the mission-based, sales-driven company she has been looking for!
Her commitment to making a positive impact extends to empowering others to make thoughtful, planet-friendly choices through the gifts they purchase. Mary is excited to continue creating meaningful change by connecting purpose-driven products with socially conscious consumers across sectors.

Debbie began her career with HHPLift in 2016, eager to work with an organization that gives back. With over 20 years’ experience, she enjoys working with numbers and lends her expertise to our Accounting Department. Her passions are her grandson and her 2 pups.

Amanda Flores
Sales Assistant and Product Specialist
Amanda joined HHPLift in 2021. She enjoys working at a social enterprise where the day to day translates directly to meaningful impact. She enjoys taking on new challenges and expanding her work knowledge. In Amanda's free time, she enjoys spending time with her 2 cats and puppy.

Jullie is a DePaul student that began her journey with us as a summer intern through the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center. She is passionate about giving back to her local community and is proud to work alongside people that share her passion. She studies management and finance and uses those skills as our Marketing and Sales Coordinator.

Daisy Ortiz

Daisy’s journey with HHPLift began in 2024. As a student, she applies her knowledge of digital design and software to her work. Her role as Design and Sales Support includes collaboration with several departments to complete tasks such as printing, creating graphics, and assisting with portal/website maintenance. Daisy enjoys sketching and is inspired by various forms of art and media.

Veronica Marquez is a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Administrative Assistant for the LiftWorks™ Program, where she plays a vital role in supporting program operations and ensuring seamless day-to-day administrative functions. With a strong background in organization and problem-solving, Veronica assists in coordinating projects, managing communications, and providing essential support. In her free time, Veronica enjoys Starbucks runs with her furry best friend, Prada—the charismatic and playful French Bulldog who occasionally serves as a distinguished member of the LiftWorks™ team.

LiftWorks™ Junior Program Associate
Julia joined HHPLift in 2019, bringing with her excitement and an unmatched work ethic. You may recognize her name as the artist from the LiftWorks™ limited edition Hot Cocoa scented candle! Julia is adept at creating soaps and candles. She is eager and open to learning anything that comes her way. Julia is thankful for her coworkers who are always friendly and helpful team players. Julia feels inspired and grows every week at the LiftWorks™ Program. Julia has several pets. Her favorite animals are guinea pigs. In her spare time, Julia loves watching horror movies and creating art.
Harry Zucker
LiftWorks™ Junior Program Associate
Harry joined HHPLift in 2018. Since onboarding, Harry has learned to create candles and soaps from start to finish. He assists in data entry, helps to organize products, and is responsible for recycling. Harry has also honed in on his soft skills, such as time management, teamwork, communication, and adaptability. Harry gives back to his community weekly by volunteering to provide food to nearby retirement homes.
